Benefit Brow Zings VS Rimmel Brows This Way

I cannot believe I am saying this but I am officially one of those ladies who CANNOT leave the house without filling in my eyebrows. I have a pretty decent set of eyebrows that before, I didn't really feel the need to fill them in or make them look more defined. Boy was I so wrong! Don't worry, I've learned my lesson and today, I will share with you two eyebrow kits, one high-end and one that won't cost you a fortune.

browzings versus browthisway

The two brow products I will be comparing are the Benefit Brow Zings and the Rimmel Brow This Way which are both the wax and powder kind of brow kit. I think these kinds of brow products are perfect for ladies who already have a nice set of brows like me. If you have very sparse eyebrow hairs, you'll probably need to use an eyebrow pencil beforehand.

Benefit Brow Zings Brow Shaping Kit $32

The packaging of Brow Zings looks really good and is sturdy. It doesn't feel cheap at all and it has a slight weight to it. It has a good-sized mirror, includes two small eyebrow brushes, and a tiny tweezer. I think this brow kit is perfect for traveling! The pigmentation of both the wax and the powder is pretty good and it comes in three shades: light, medium, dark. The one I have is in medium.

Rimmel Brow This Way Brow Sculpting Kit $5.88

This brow kit is basically a dupe for the Benefit Brow Zings kit, the only difference is that this doesn't have a mirror and a tiny tweezer. The pigmentation of both the wax and the powder is pretty great and this is also good for traveling because this includes a double-ended brush and a spooly, perfect for doing the brows without having to bring extra brushes. It also comes in three shades: mid brown, dark brown and blonde. The one I own is the dark brown.

I'll be honest with you, I don't really use the little brushes that come in these eyebrow kits. As you can see, I've already lost the ones from my Brow Zings kit.

The Brow Zings costs $42 here in Whitehorse and gurl, #DASESPENSIVE! I don't want to spend that much on something I know I will run out of fast. One day at WalMart, I saw Rimmel's Brow This Way and it reminded me so much of Brow Zings that I decided to give it a try. I have been using it everyday since and I AM IN LOVE WITH IT!

Below, I swatched both products and you will see that there is barely any difference. My Brow This Way is just a little bit darker than my Brow Zings.

REVIEW:

These are both so easy to apply and easy to blend! The only difference between the two when it comes to consistency is that I find the Brow Zings' wax thicker and heavier than Rimmel's Brow This Way. Application wise, the Rimmel Brow This Way glides way easier on the brows compared to Benefit's Brow Zings. One thing I don't like about the Brow This Way though is that it doesn't have a mirror! Application would be way easier if only it had a mirror inside, if you know what I mean. These don't really have a scent to them which is good and both are easy to remove with coconut oil.

FINAL VERDICT:

For me, the winner would be the Rimmel Brow This Way Brow Sculpting Kit! It works just as well as the Benefit Brow Zings and it is way cheaper! I suggest that you save your money and buy yourself a MAC lipstick instead!
