Makeup Monday: My Springtime Makeup Faves

It's supposed to start to feel like spring here but we're still experiencing negative two-digit temperatures, so I doubt I'll be saying goodbye to my winter coat and I won't be wearing shorts any time soon. Despite our freezing Spring temperatures though, I like to wear Spring-y colors on my face because the sun is staying out a little longer these days, and that makes me giddy and happy! Spring, come here already please!

On today's Makeup Monday, I want to share with you a few things I've been loving this "spring" season.

ELF Prism Eyeshadow Palette in NAKED

1.) ELF Prism Palette in NAKED -  I love warm tones because I think those colors just bring out the light-brown of my eyes even more. I guess it's safe to say that I am totally obsessed with this eyeshadow palette! I've been using this palette everyday; the colors are amazing, they all have nice color payoff, so easy to blend and it lasts fairly long, especially on primed lids. I've been using shades 3 & 5 everyday for that Peachy Bronze everyday makeup look. I love how natural it looks.

2.) Bye eyeliner! I have been loving the no-eyeliner look! I've been skipping that step for more than a couple weeks now. I just load up on mascara on both my top and lower lashes and I think it's a really nice look. It looks really fresh and clean and I think it's a really nice look for the Spring time.

I learned this cool trick that I've been doing a lot lately. I put on my waterproof mascara first because that will make my lashes hold the curl, then a slab on some volumizing mascara right after that! Try it!

3.) ELF Studio Bronzer in Golden - I've been using this a lot to contour my face. It gives my face a nice sunkissed glow that I think just screams spring and summer!

4.) Milani's Baked Powder Blush in Rose D' Oro - I wish we had a bigger selection of Milani products here in Whitehorse, because if we did, I would love to buy all their blushes! First of all, it looks so pretty! Then I love how peachy and golden it looks on my cheeks! It can also pass off as a light contour shade if I didn't want to wear a bronzer that day. I just love how this looks on my skin! I gives a really nice glow that comes from the inside. <3

5.) Revlon Super Lustrous Creme in Pink in the Afternoon - Jorge and I walked inside Shoppers one day to buy a new pot of eye cream when I saw that the Revlon lipsticks were on sale for $5!! That's cheap considering the prices of lipsticks here range from $9 to $12! So of course, I ended up walking out with one Revlon lipstick in my Shoppers bag. I picked up this nice nude pink shade that makes my lips look so pretty! I love how subtle the pink is but it has excellent color payoff. What I don't like about it though is that it gives off that white (laway) ring around the inside of the mouth. :( I still use this a lot though because I want it to be spring already! Is there a way to avoid that white ring of death on the lips? Help a gal out!

So those are the few things I've been enjoying this Spring. What are you most excited about Spring? I am excited for more road trips and for the flowers to start blooming! Whitehorse just looks extra pretty with color.

This was actually supposed to be a makeup Tutorial on a Peachy Bronze makeup look, but my photos didn't come out nice. HA! So yeah, here's a selfie nalang. HAHA

Do you guys have your own Spring makeup faves? Let me know what colors you are more inclined to using nowadays! :)
