When was the last time you did something for the first time?

I really love that question because I think it pushes you out of your comfort zone to do and explore something new! When I received the email invitation to attend Generation Beauty NYC for free, I knew I had to go. Generation Beauty is one of the biggest annual events in the beauty/YouTube community so it was a no-brainer, I immediately rsvp'd and got acquired my tickets. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend the Creator Day event and Cocktail Party where I could have hung out with some big YouTubers. Now I know to make it a point to attend those days if I do get invited again next year.

Spending Christmas In New York City | PART ONE

I'm not sure if I mentioned this here on the blog already, but in 2016, Jorge and I decided that every Christmas time, we would travel to New York City as our little family tradition.

We were so blessed to be able to make it happen last year, and here's the post from that trip...finally! I'm sorry it took forever, but life happened! What's important now is that here it is, and I'm warning you, there will be a lot of photos!

Reasons Why This New York Hotel is Amazing

It's not everyday that we're in New York City, but when we are, we make sure that we stay in a nice place. We checked out a bunch of hotels, hostels, and Airbnb's in the city, but there was only one place that really caught our attention, and it was the Arlo NoMAd Hotel.

New York City | Day Two

December 24th

It's Christmas Eve and boy was it lovely to wake up in New York City! While locals bustle around trying to get their last minute shopping done, Jorge, Julian and I greeted the new day with excitement and still aching feet.

New York City | Day One

I don't know who initially thought of the idea but it was decided; we were to go to New York City! Not everyone has the luxury to go see the Big Apple so the moment Jorge told me that we were to spend two days there, which was a week before our trip, I immediately started packing our suitcase in my head. Who else does that? 😂

This is my first trip to New York City, and even though I've seen so many movies set in New York, I still didn't know what to expect.
