How To Make Chili - The Easiest Recipe Ever
Whenever I feel lazy to cook, but too broke to eat out, I opt for my go-to easy recipes! Pasta is a big one on my list, but I get bored of pasta easily so my next choice is always CHILI!
I googled a chili recipe ages ago but I can’t pull up a link for you because I’ve been making my chili off of my memory.😂 It’s seriously the fastest and quickest meal to make ever so enjoy!
WHAT YOU NEED:
1 pound ground beef
1 big can black beans
1 big can kidney beans
1 big can whole kernel corn
1 small can of tomato paste
one tomato (diced/chopped small)
Diced Onion
Diced Garlic
Salt
Pepper
Sugar
Cumin
FOR TOPPINGS:
Shredded cheddar cheese
Sour cream
OPTIONAL:
Rice
HOW TO MAKE:
If you’re serving with rice, make the rice before anything else.
Sauté onion and garlic in medium-high heat.
Add defrosted ground beef. Break it down as it cooks and make sure it’s cooked all the way.
Add sliced tomatoes.
Season with salt & pepper.
Add tomato paste and mix well.
Add black beans and kidney beans. Turn down the heat to light-medium and mix frequently.
Add A LOT of cumin. I literally add so much. I don’t have an exact measurement. I just taste and decide whether I should add more or not.
Add the corn and mix.
Add some sugar if you want a little sweetness. Do a taste test, and add more salt/pepper/cumin if needed.
Scoop up some rice, chili, then serve with sour cream and cheddar cheese on top.
