My Current Skincare Routine using Non-Toxic Products

It's been a hot minute since I updated you on my skincare routine, and now that I'm using only clean and non-toxic beauty, my products have changed!

I decided to write this post because I’ve been getting some questions about my skin and what products I use. Honestly, my skin isn’t perfect, but it looks and feels healthy. And I love that I have peace of mind knowing that the products I’m using now won’t harm my health. I do believe that skincare comes before makeup, so if you want to know my current ride-or-die clean/non-toxic skincare products, keep on reading!

Here are the products I use in the order that I would use them
[NIGHT TIME]:

  1. Knours Your Only Cleanser - The best makeup remover I’ve ever tried! I apply this oil straight on my dry face to melt my makeup. Then I add a little bit of water to make a lather, and then I rinse all the dirt off my face! I promise you, your face won’t feel oily after!

  2. Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser - I always double cleanse! This is the cleanser I use to get rid of any excess oil and makeup. I love love love how this smells too! I like to use my Michael Todd Soniclear Brush with this cleanser.

  3. Indie Lee Gentle Daily Peel - This comes in wipes form, and I love how gentle they are on the face! I use this as a toner and exfoliator.

  4. True Botanicals Nutrient Toner - If I’m dealing with some breakouts, this is the toner I would reach for! It’s intended to purify, clarify, and hydrate my combo/oily skin.

  5. True Botanicals Repair Serum & Beautycounter Overnight Resurfacing Peel - These products aren’t similar at all, but I use them interchangeably depending on what I feel my skin needs that day. I do know that these two will help slow down signs of aging so yey for that! The True Botanicals serum feels a lot gentler on the skin. BC’s resurfacing peel is really powerful that a lot of people see a difference overnight!

  6. Beautycounter Countermatch Eye Rescue Cream - I’m so sad my all time favorite eye brightening cream isn’t clean so I had to find an alternative! I saw how effective this eye cream from Beautycounter was from a fellow BC consultant and I was blown away by her results! I’ve been using this for almost a month now and I’m excited to see how well this will work on me. So far, so good!

  7. Indie Lee Active Oil-Free Moisturizer & AO Raw Nurture PM Treatment - To me, moisturizers are all the same, but also not really. Some moisturizers don’t moisturize enough, but I feel like they all do the same thing. Do you know what I mean? Haha. But these two moisturizers don’t let me down! I love using these for both day and night!

If I need super duper extra hydration, I use True Botanicals Pure Radiane Oil (CLEAR) at night. I love how my skin feels in the morning.

PRO TIP: Use a jade roller when applying serums!

[DAY TIME]:

I don’t really do a whole dedicated skincare routine in the mornings. I usually just wash my face with water and apply my Indie Lee moisturizer, but some days, when I know I have do something important, I take some extra steps:

  1. Water - to get rid of my morning oils and morning glory (eye boogers) haha.

  2. Hannes Dottir Mineral Mist - Wakes me up and I feel like my makeup sticks and sits on my face better.

  3. Indie Lee I-Waken Eye Serum - Hydrates my under eyes well and it’s a great eye cream to apply before makeup.

  4. Tatcha Violet-C Brightening Serum 20% Vitamin C + 10% AHA - this helps brighten up my face.

  5. Indie Lee Active Oil-Free Moisturizer - great to use before makeup.

When I’m dealing with breakouts:

  1. CBD Infused Acne Treatment Regimen - I swear, this product works! I used this on my breakout and my pimple was gone in like 3 days. And they use all natural ingredients which is a huge win for me!

I do keep my skincare routine more minimal when I’m trying to get rid of acne because I do think that the more products you use, the more you can irritate your skin, so I just stick with this acne treatment regimen.

  2. Then I apply my eye cream.

Das it! I hope you found this post helpful!
Let me know if you have any questions, I’m happy to help out!

What are some clean skincare brands I should try next?
