I Tried Versed's Acne Products - Are They Worth It?

Versed released a few acne-fighting products last month and they sent me a couple to test out, and spoiler alert, they're pretty dang good!

They released a cleanser, a body mist, and a spot treatment; I will be talking about the cleanser and the body mist today. Disclaimer, I don’t really get severe acne anymore because thanks to the skincare gods, I was able to help clear my skin by doing the 10-step Korean skincare routine years ago. BUT I do suffer from hormonal acne so I was still able to test out these products fairly! Also, I have “bac-ne”, aka, back acne, which is soooo not cute, so I love that I still got to experiment with their new mist!

VERSED KEEP THE PEACE ACNE-CALMING CREAM CLEANSER - $16.99

You know when a product is named very appropriately because the name does exactly what it says; this is one of those times. The first time I tried this product, I had a breakout that was just starting to come alive, but because I used this cleanser, it was gone the next day. The pimple didn’t even get to live! Because of that, I knew this product was going to do wonders for me when I do experience bad skin days!

Most acne cleansers feel drying after every wash but not this one! I find my whole cleansing experience very pleasant from start to finish. This Keep The Peace cleanser contains 1.5% Salicylic acid, an ingredient known for killing breakouts without stripping your skin of its natural oils, apple fruit extract that acts as an exfoliant to help remove any buildup that can contribute to breakouts, and blue tansy, a natural antioxidant that helps soothe irritated skin. And did I mention the super cute blue shade of this product? 😍 As always, this product contains no harmful chemicals, like all the other Versed products.

If you experience breakouts regularly, you’ll definitely love this product!

FAST FACTS:

💙 foaming yet non-drying
💙 calms acne thanks to the 1.5% Salicylic acid
💙 removes build up thanks to apple fruit extract
💙 soothes irritated skin thanks to blue tansy
💙 no harmful chemicals

VERSED BACK-UP PLAN ACNE-CONTROL BODY MIST - $14.99

If you whispered “finally” or “hallelujah” when you read or heard about this product, SAME! Maybe I just live under a rock and have not heard of acne products for my body, but when I received this in the mail, it felt like my unheard prayers have been answered!

If you combine 2% Salicylic Acid, tea tree oil, and witch hazel, what do you get? A powerful acne-fighting product that’s still gentle on the skin! The trio fights bacteria, controls excess oil, calms inflammation, and soothes redness. I have been using this after every shower since I got it and I did notice that my body acne has calmed down a lot! I also get random itches around my butt area and since using this, those went away as well! This bottle releases the most satisfying FINE mist that you’ll find yourself spraying more than you should! 😂 It has a cooling effect (great for summer), dries very fast and it’s not sticky or oily at all. It feels just like water! The website mentions that it’s also great for post-workout sessions.

FAST FACTS:

💙 has a combination of 2% Salicylic acid, tea tree oil, and witch hazel - a powerful acne-fighting concoction
💙 non-aerosol bottle that releases a very FINE mist
💙 cooling, fast-drying, doesn’t feel sticky or oily
💙 perfect after workout mist
